About
KAT100 by UTMB crosses the Kitzbühel Alps in Tyrol, and every race finishes in Fieberbrunn. The 100 Miles, billed as Austria's longest ultra trail, starts in Fieberbrunn at 6 p.m. on the Thursday and is 169 km with 9,000 m of climbing on a 45-hour limit. Runners see the evening light on the Wildseeloder, pass the lit cross of the Jakobskreuz in the night and reach the Kitzbüheler Horn around sunrise, on ridgelines, rocky passages and grassy summits.
The Endurance Trail starts in Kitzbühel at a minute to midnight on the Friday, climbs the Hahnenkamm into the dawn and follows the Fieberbrunner Höhenweg to the finish, 75 km with 4,100 m on an 18-hour limit. The Marathon Trail (52 km, 3,100 m) is a single loop from Fieberbrunn, new for 2027, by the Gebra chapel towards Aurach and back along the border between Tyrol and Salzburg.
Course
The 2027 race pages give the 100 Miles as 169 km and 9,000 m, where the 2026 edition was timed over 159 km and 8,500 m, and the Endurance Trail's own summary calls it 81 km against 75 on its banner. The Marathon Trail's limit is 12 hours 30 minutes. The weekend's Speed Trail (24 km) and Easy Trail are shorter than an ultra.
How to register
Entry for 2027 is first come, first served, with no lottery and no waiting list. The 100 Miles asks for a UTMB Index in the 100K or 100M category and the Endurance Trail one in the 50K, 100K or 100M category. No medical certificate is required.
