About

Swiss Alps 100 runs out of Fiesch in the Valais, on high trails above the Aletsch Glacier region. Its flagship 160K climbs about 10,150 metres, and a 100K climbs about 6,250; both are steep, high, and technical. The weekend also holds a 50K, a Vertical, and a kids' run.

The 160K starts at 7:30 a.m. Friday and holds a 50-hour cutoff; the 100K starts at 5:30 p.m. Friday with a 27-hour cutoff. Both count as Western States 100 qualifiers, the 160K under 50 hours and the 100K under 25.

Course

High trails above the Aletsch region out of Fiesch. The 160K climbs about 10,150 metres and starts at 7:30 a.m. Friday with a 50-hour cutoff; the 100K climbs about 6,250 metres and starts at 5:30 p.m. Friday with a 27-hour cutoff.
