About
The CCC runs from Courmayeur in Italy over the Grand Col Ferret into Switzerland, through Champex-Lac, and on to the UTMB finish line in Chamonix, essentially the second half of the UTMB course. About 101 kilometers with just over 6,000 meters of climbing.
Often called UTMB's little sister, it is a championship-level 100K with one of the deepest elite fields of the year and the same finish-line atmosphere as the main event. From 2026 it is also a Western States Golden Ticket race: the top three men and women earn automatic entries to the following June's Western States 100.
Course
The second half of the UTMB loop: from Courmayeur over the Grand Col Ferret (the high point, about 2,530 m) into Switzerland through Champex-Lac, then the same final climbs and descents into Chamonix that decide the longer race.
How to register
Entry works like UTMB: Running Stones from UTMB World Series races buy tickets in the December lottery, with elite spots by UTMB Index. The top three men and women earn Western States Golden Tickets, with roll-down as far as seventh.
