How it went

Martyna Młynarczyk fought off a late surge from Sylvia Nordskar to win the women's race in 11:41:55, the second-fastest CCC ever behind Blandine L'Hirondel's 2022 course record. Nordskar moved past with about four miles left, but Młynarczyk answered in the final stretch and held on by 18 seconds; Anna Tarasova was third, the podium covered by just over two minutes. The win was redemption for Młynarczyk, who had dropped at Western States in June.

Francesco Puppi broke the men's race open after Champex-Lac near the halfway point and ran alone to the finish in 10:06:02, also the second-fastest time in race history. David Sinclair held second the rest of the way, with Drew Holmen third. Run as the 100-kilometer UTMB World Series final from Courmayeur to Chamonix, the CCC drew a field deep enough that several UTMB-distance contenders chose it instead.
