About

La Petite Trotte à Léon starts from Chamonix on the Monday morning of UTMB week, four days before the UTMB itself, and allows 151 hours, so the last teams come in on Sunday as the week closes. Teams of two or three take on about 300 kilometers and 25,000 meters of climbing around the Mont Blanc massif, through France, Italy, and Switzerland, on a high mountain course redrawn every year.

There is no official ranking. Teams that complete the course are finishers, and that is the whole result. Entry is by selection: teams apply with a self-assessment of their mountain experience, and the organization decides who starts.

Course

A high mountain route around the Mont Blanc massif, redrawn every year: about 300 km with 25,000 m of climbing.

How to register

Entry is by selection rather than lottery: teams of two or three apply through a self-assessment form documenting their mountain experience.
