About
Oh Meu Deus by UTMB has been run in the Serra da Estrela since 2011 and finishes in Seia. Since 2025 its longest race has reached further west: the 100M starts in the village of Lousã at 6 p.m. on the Friday and covers 167 km with 8,900 m of climbing on a 44-hour limit, crossing the Serra da Lousã and the Serra do Açor through Fajão, Malhada Chã and Teixeira to Alvoco da Serra before the climb to Torre, the highest point in mainland Portugal, and the technical descent of the Loriga glacial valley.
The 100K (94 km, 5,300 m) is a loop from Seia by way of Cabeça and Alvoco da Serra, up to Torre on the Rota do Pastoreio and down the Loriga gorge. The 50K (52 km, 2,900 m) starts in Loriga and climbs a vertical kilometre to Torre before running down to Seia. 100M finishers inside 34 hours can go on to the Viriato, a further 40 km within ten hours. From 2027 the 100M is a Western States 100 qualifier.
Course
The organiser warns on every race page that the routes may change because of fires in the area. The weekend's 22 km 20K is shorter than an ultra.
