About
Amazean Jungle Thailand by UTMB starts at the Betong Mongkollit Tunnel in Yala Province, near Thailand's border with Malaysia, and finishes at the Betong Clock Tower. All three ultras run through the sea-of-mist viewpoints at Jaroh Ganga and Kapae Hulu, and the two longer races go through the refuge tunnel at Piyamit.
The Betong 100M is 115 km with 5,600 m of climbing on a 32-hour limit, the Tunnel 100K is 91 km with 4,400 m on 24 hours, and the Jungle 50K is 56 km with 2,600 m on 15 hours. The branded distances are not the measured ones, so read the kilometres. The Jungle 50K is the big race here, with 862 starters in 2026.
Course
In 2027 the Betong 100M starts at 4 p.m. Friday, the Tunnel 100K at 4 a.m. Saturday and the Jungle 50K at 6 a.m. Saturday. The weekend's Mist and Flower 20K races are shorter than an ultra.
