How it went
Storms hit the Mont Blanc massif through race weekend. Tom Evans attacked on the climb to the Grand Col Ferret and became the first British man to win UTMB, finishing in 19:18:56. Ruth Croft won the women's race in 22:56:23 and became the first runner to have won all three of Chamonix's finals: OCC, CCC, and UTMB.
