How it went
Mark Darbyshire won the 2026 Hundred Hills 50km in 3:50:02 and Fiona Pascall won the women's race in 4:08:13, a course record. Ry Webb was second man in 3:52:56 and Benjamin Hall third in 3:54:13; Lynne Nicholls was second woman in 4:39:51 with Nicola Glover third in 4:46:17.
It was Darbyshire's second win at Stonor. Webb ran the chase evenly and came up two and a half minutes short. Pascall now holds three Centurion course records from three starts, having already taken the Wendover Woods 50 and the North Downs Way 50.
The fourth running started on frozen ground and opened out into blue sky, with the trails in good condition almost throughout. There were 438 starters, about a quarter of them running a first ultra, and the race put more runners across a Centurion finish line than any before it, by five. Keith Simpson was the last of them and won the MV70 category.
