Chiltern Wonderland 50 2026

Jack Oates won the 2026 Chiltern Wonderland 50 in 6:28:14, and Lynne Nicholls won the women's race in 8:09:45. Oates led from the start and finished 42 minutes ahead of Dominic Jones. Centurion Running says his time is the fourth fastest a man has run on the course. Jones and Jack Grover reached the last checkpoint at Blue Tin two seconds apart, with 10 km to go, and Jones took second in 7:10:53, 16 seconds ahead of Grover.

Nicholls was 14th overall, and the race puts her time among the ten fastest by a woman here. Helen Chapman was second in 8:56:03 and Beth Whittaker third in 9:08:49.

The eleventh running had a warm, overcast and breezy day. Eleanor Gills was the last finisher in 12:58:32, inside the 13-hour limit by a minute and a half after going off course within a mile of the finish. Luigi Fumero finished the race for the eleventh time in eleven editions and is the only runner to have done so.
