Chiltern Wonderland 50 2025

Joseph Turner won the 2025 Chiltern Wonderland 50 in 6:18:15 and Julia Davis won the women's race in 7:13:19, and both were course records. Nicholas Berry was second man in 6:41:45 and Tom Harvey third in 6:54:16; Veronika Gill was second woman in 8:06:21 with Alice Bourne third in 8:08:11.

Turner went out after Jon Ellis' 6:22 from 2020 and was five minutes down on it at the marathon, at Ibstone, before taking it back over the second half. Davis ran ahead of the women's record from the start and finished 23 minutes inside the previous 7:37. Gill was five minutes behind Bourne at the last aid station with 10 km to go and came past her in the final two miles.

The tenth running was warm and humid at the start, with a strong breeze and showers passing through later. 221 of the 244 starters finished, a 91 percent completion rate the race says equals its highest. Vince Darley and Luigi Fumero each finished their tenth edition out of ten.
