Zugspitz Ultra Trail by UTMB 2026

Thursday, June 18, 2026 · Completed

Every ultra changed for heat and thunderstorms forecast over race weekend, after consultation with GeoSphere Austria and the mountain rescue teams. The ZUT100 started on time but ran 107 km with 5,280 m, and was scored in the 100K category rather than as a 100 miler. The Ultratrail and the Ehrwald Trail both started from Leutasch on the same 74 km course. The Leutasch Trail kept its course and started at 5 a.m. Saturday. Runners who finished on two shorter ZUT100 variants (100 km and 88 km) and one shorter Leutasch variant (61 km) are ranked separately on UTMB Live, so those two races carry no field counts.
