How it went

Keith Nadeau won the 2026 Vermont 100 in 15:41:42, and Megan Eckert won the women's race in 17:19:56, seventh overall. The women's lead changed twice. Camille Herron led the first six checkpoints, Joanna Fortier went ahead at mile 47 and led through mile 69, and Eckert took the front at Spirit of '76 and won by 56:56. Nadeau led from the second checkpoint on.

James Gilbert won the 100K in 9:09:00, a course record. It took 7:50 off Cole Crosby's 2025 mark, and Maxime Bibeau went under the old time too. Gilbert was ninety seconds down at the last checkpoint and came back to win. Therese Howe led every checkpoint to win the women's 100K in 10:47:00, and Z Porter won the non-binary race in 16:03:47.
