Pandora's Box of Rox 2026

Matt Smith won the 2026 double marathon in 10:56:33, and no woman finished it.

Four women got round three of the four laps and all four were stopped there. The fastest was through in 12:15:31, a quarter of an hour past the 6:00 p.m. deadline for starting a last lap. Sam Amundson and Khai Nguyen came in behind Smith in 14:24:08 and 15:47:04, the second of those thirteen minutes inside the sixteen-hour limit.

Almost the whole 52.4-mile field was scored DNF, most of it after one or two laps, while the marathon over the same loop ran normally.
