About
Jujuy Fuerza Sagrada by UTMB runs through the Quebrada de Humahuaca in Argentina's far northwest, high desert country in the province of Jujuy. The INTI 88K starts in the village of Tilcara and heads for the Garganta del Diablo, past the Paleta del Pintor at Maimará, local farms and wineries, then climbs through Punta Corral to nearly 4,000 m before dropping towards Tunalito. A second big climb comes after Chalala and the Quebrada de Coquena, on the way to the El Paso viewpoint and Tumbaya.
Both ultras finish in Purmamarca, under Cerro de los Siete Colores at about 2,300 m. The KUNTUR 50K starts from the Incahuasi valley above 3,000 m, beside the Río Grande.
Course
