Will Murray broke the course record in 12:10:12, with David Roche eight minutes back and Canyon Woodward another two minutes behind in a race where the top three all beat 12:20. Tara Dower took down the women's record in 13:31:47, finishing seventh overall, an hour clear of Beth McKenzie. 492 runners finished the 100 Mile.
