About
Ultra Trail Whistler by UTMB is a UTMB World Series event at the Whistler Blackcomb resort in British Columbia, home of the 2010 Winter Olympics. The 100K climbs about 5,100 metres past Black Tusk, alpine lakes, and ridgeline views, starting and finishing around Whistler village. The weekend also holds 50K, 25K, and 10K races.
The 100K starts at 5:00 a.m. and holds a 24-hour cutoff. A finish counts as a Western States 100 qualifier. The 2026 edition moved to August, after the race ran in late September in 2025.
Course
A 100K at Whistler Blackcomb past Black Tusk and alpine lakes, starting and finishing around Whistler village: about 5,100 metres of climbing. The 100K starts at 5:00 a.m. with a 24-hour cutoff.
How to register
Entry is on UTMB's Canadian entry store, which sells the 100K alongside the weekend's 50K, 25K, and 10K races. Online entry closes the Sunday before the race, but it is not the last way in: the race takes walk-up entries at its expo on the Friday for any distance still open, and none at all on race day.
