About
Vietnam Highlands Trail by UTMB runs from Lam Vien Square in the middle of Da Lat, in Lam Dong province, into the mountains of Vietnam's Central Highlands, and finishes at the Clay Tunnel south of the city. The 100K Langbiang starts at 3 a.m. on the Saturday and covers 104.2 km with 5,533 m of climbing on a 28-hour limit. The 50K Elephant goes two hours later over 56.4 km with 2,946 m.
Entry is first come, first served on UTMB's site until December 25, 2026 or until each race sells out, and the 50K is already closed.
Course
The 100K Langbiang starts from Lam Vien Square at 3 a.m. Saturday on a 28-hour limit, and the 50K Elephant from the same square at 5 a.m., closing at 11 p.m. Saturday. Both finish at the Clay Tunnel. In January 2026 the Elephant 50 ran 55.4 km.
How to register
First come, first served. Runners with a UTMB Index could enter from June 9, 2026 and everyone else from June 11, and registration stays open until December 25, 2026 at 23:59 Vietnam time or until a race sells out. The 50K Elephant is closed for 2027; the 100K Langbiang is open.
