About
Ultra-Trail Shudao by UTMB runs in Guangyuan, in the north of Sichuan, China, and finishes at Zhaohua Ancient Town. The DSD 100K is the long race: 104 km with 3,800 m of climbing, starting from the Jiange Tourist Center at 9 p.m. on the Friday and running through the night on a 26-hour limit. The CSD 70K starts and finishes in Zhaohua Ancient Town on the Saturday morning, over 70.5 km with 3,100 m of climbing.
In November 2025 the weekend had one ultra, a 100 km day race that 758 of 795 starters finished. Chinese residents register through a Chinese platform and everyone else through UTMB's own, and 2026 registration is closed.
Course
The DSD starts from the Jiange Tourist Center at 9 p.m. Friday and closes at Zhaohua Ancient Town at 11 p.m. Saturday. The CSD starts from Zhaohua Ancient Town at 7:30 a.m. Saturday and closes there at 2:30 a.m. Sunday. The weekend's MSD 50K is 42 km. In 2025 the DSD was a 100 km day race from 9 a.m.
How to register
Registration is a straight sale with no draw: runners choose a race, register and pay. Those living in China enter on a Chinese platform, and everyone else on UTMB's registration site. Entries for 2026 are closed.
