Ultra-Trail Kosciuszko by UTMB 2025
Friday, November 28, 2025 · Completed
Both long races were shortened days before the start. Late snow left steep, icy drifts on the Main Range Track between the Mt Kosciuszko summit and Charlotte Pass Lookout, so the organisers cut that section from the KosciMiler and the Kosci100, taking about 3 km off each and adding a section on the Schlink Pass Loop to keep the miler above 160 km. Cut-off times were not changed.

How it went
Morgan Glazier won the 2025 KosciMiler in 17:38:25 and Stephanie Auston won the women's race in 19:45:56, sixth of the 221 finishers overall. Loris Lassere won the Kosci100 in 9:53:20 and Sophie Broome won the women's race in 11:58:10.
Both races ran on a shortened course. Snow came late to the Snowy Mountains that year, and five days out the organisers cut the stretch of the Main Range Track between the Mt Kosciuszko summit and Charlotte Pass Lookout, calling its steep, icy drifts unsafe to pass. Runners returned from the summit on the Kosciuszko Summit Walk instead, losing about 3 km, and the miler gained a section on the Schlink Pass Loop to stay above 160 km. The Kosci100 was the biggest of the weekend's long races, with 893 of 1,073 starters finishing.
