How it went

Guidu Qin won the 2025 Ultra-Trail Great Wall 100K in 9:44:18, and Wenli Jiang won the women's race in 12:40:50 for eighth overall. Qin finished 22 minutes clear of Ji Duo. The race went off at 22:00 on the Friday and ran through the night, and 762 of its 910 starters finished.

Erqing Wu won the 50K in 4:20:12 and Ting Zhang the women's race in 5:11:54. That race is much the larger of the two and much the gentler: 1,608 of its 1,632 starters finished, a completion rate of 99 percent against the 100K's 84.

Neither 2025 course is the one being run in 2026. The flagship covered 104.2 km with 4,365 m of climbing that year and the 50K 54.7 km, against the 100 km and 3,800 m the race now publishes, so the times here are not comparable with what 2026 produces.
