About

The Twisted Branch 100K runs point to point along the Bristol Hills Branch of the Finger Lakes Trail, starting before dawn at Gannett Hill near Naples and winding south through the state forests, wildlife management areas, and private land of the Finger Lakes region. It is roughly 90 percent secluded singletrack with about 10,000 feet of climbing, which is a lot for a 100K, and the race leans into its old-school, low-key character.

First run in 2015, it starts at 4:00 a.m. and holds a 20-hour cutoff. The field is small, the top finishers earn prize money, and a finish counts as a Western States 100 qualifier.
