How it went
Mika Thewes won the 2026 Tahoe 200's women's race in 51:10:26 and came second overall, beating every man but one. Aaron Kubala won outright in 48:09:30, the first leg of a summer that took him on to the Bigfoot 200 in August. Brody Chisholm was second in 55:26:16 and Dennis Boic third in 58:51:48, and Ashley Paulson, who had won here before, was second woman in 59:04:37.
Over the 100K two days later, Christopher Grove won in 13:20:06 with Henry Huchingson four minutes back, and Kristina Malzbender won the women's race in 17:23:30 for eighth overall.
