About
Snowbasin by UTMB runs at Snowbasin Resort in the Wasatch Mountains above Ogden, Utah, the alpine venue for the 2034 Winter Olympics. The 58K measures 59 km with 1,800 m of climbing, on a 12-hour limit from a 7 a.m. Saturday start, through sagebrush, aspen and fir with views of Ogden and the Great Salt Lake.
In 2026 it had 286 starters and 261 finishers.
Course
The 2027 course file is still 2026's and the race says it may change. The weekend's 28K is shorter than an ultra.
How to register
Entry for 2027 has not opened. In 2026 online entry ran until the Sunday before the race unless the places went first.
