How it went

Ryan Sullivan won the 2026 Run Rabbit Run 100 in 17:03:38 and Hannah Allgood won the women's race in 19:01:59, and both times are course records. Sullivan took 20 minutes off the 17:23:34 Dave Stevens ran in 2023. Allgood finished 46 minutes inside Emilie Mann's 19:48:06 from 2024. Each won $20,000 in the Hare division.

Sullivan finished 55 minutes ahead of Jeff Mogavero, who ran 17:59:14. Jesse Rich, the 2025 winner, was third in 18:18:47. Steamboat Springs runner Devon Olson was second at mile 89, 26 minutes behind Sullivan, when he fell and separated his shoulder, and he did not finish. Nicole Laughton was the second woman in 20:26:22, with Lauren Puretz six minutes behind her in 20:32:27.

It rained hard through most of the night, with hail in places. In the Tortoise division, which starts four hours before the Hares and pays no prize money, Luke Verbus was first in 21:40:51 and Sarah Trautman was the first woman in 23:31:07.

Scott Schrader won the 50 mile on Saturday in 8:11:36, ahead of Robert Prosser in 8:25:56 and Ryan McAvoy in 8:29:29. Brier Youngfleish won the women's 50 mile in 8:37:52. Pearson Alspach of Steamboat Springs was second in 8:57:30 and Mae Thorp third in 9:03:23.
