How it went
Raul Butaci won the 2026 CSP in 10:41:10 and Gemma Arenas Alcazar won the women's race in 13:43:19. Jose Angel Fernandez Jimenez won the MiM in 05:15:09 and Sara-Rebekka Linde won the women's race in 06:23:20.
The CSP was decided by 42 seconds, Butaci over Julen Calvo Vigara, after 106 km. Fernandez Jimenez, who races as Canales, took a fourth consecutive MiM win, holding off Dakota Jones by just over two minutes. Second place in the women's MiM was the tightest finish of the day, Ines Astrain Moreno ten seconds ahead of Anna Comet Pascua. The long race remains much the harder of the two: 325 of its 492 starters finished, against 1,158 of 1,499 on the MiM.
