How it went
William Conner won the 2025 Oregon Cascades 100 in 17:07:51, and only two runners finished behind him. The race was stopped at around 3 a.m. on Sunday, when thick smoke from the Flat Fire settled over the Bend-to-Sisters course and organisers judged the air a hazard. Kyle Peterson in 19:47:21 and Scott Davis in 20:56:09 were the only others home by then, and the rest of the field did not get to finish. Peterson, running his first ultra, said he was "just happy that I got through before they shut it down."
