How it went
Ryan Sullivan won the 2026 High Lonesome 100 in 19:56:30, and Becca Bramley won the women's race in 21:55:49, a course record. Bramley finished third overall and took 27 seconds off Rachel Entrekin's mark from 2025. She and Isabella Poulos ran at the front of the women's race together through the first half before Bramley pulled away; Poulos was second, nearly two and a half hours back, and Salynda Heinl was third.
Sullivan ran with Gabe Joyes through the first half, and Joyes held second in 20:11:23 with Brett Carlson third. Jeffrey Colt, who won in 2025 and whose 18:52:00 is still the men's course record, stopped at mile 68.
