How it went

Terry Palmer won the 2026 Hells Hills 50 mile in 8:34:34, and Nicole Bitter won the 50K outright in 4:51:45, ahead of every man in that race. Thomas Orf was second over 50 miles in 8:52:16 and Jordan Lorance third in 9:40:08.

Only two women finished the 50 mile, so there is no third place to give. Lydia Rios came home in 13:01:36 and Kat Tierney in 13:40:27, and the next woman on the list was pulled after two laps.

Walter Flocke was the first man home in the 50K in 5:14:44, twenty-three minutes behind Bitter, with Robert Mitchell and Ryan Bryce next in 5:21:31 and 5:25:47. Marion Guillemant was second woman in 5:16:03 and Alexandra Rossi third in 6:56:46.
