Green Lakes Endurance Runs 2025

Emily Elbers of Syracuse won the 2025 Green Lakes 100K outright in 10:42:14, forty minutes clear of the first man home, Joshua Wilkinson, in 11:22:34. She was also the only woman in the race: six runners finished the 100K, five of them men, with Dan Reiser third overall in 12:33:55 and Daniel Wallace fourth in 13:16:57.

The 100K is the small end of a busy day on the same loop. Fifty-seven finished the 50K, where Shizhong Yang won in 4:05:24 and Rochelle Bilow was the first woman home in 5:04:51, third overall. Thirty-five finished the first running of the GLER Galeforce 12 Hour, led by Noah Sims with 62.1 miles and by Kuan Yu Hsieh with 52.8.

The shape of the 100K field is the clock rather than the terrain. Every fixed-distance race shares a 9:00 p.m. cutoff, which leaves fifteen hours for eight laps, and the race has finished five and six runners in the last two years.
