How it went
Hugh Tibbs won the 2025 Autumn 100 in 13:03:59, a course record by 44 minutes, and Sophie Seward won the women's race in 18:25:32, tenth across the line. David Green was second man in 14:15:49 and Martin Reed third in 15:27:39; Bonnie Rye followed Seward in 19:32:21 with Hayley Langley third woman in 19:44:23.
Tibbs' time was the fastest a British trail 100 had been run, taking Mark Darbyshire's 13:42 from that June's South Downs Way 100. He was matched early by Kallum Whitehead, who stopped at mile 57 with a swollen ankle, and ran the last two spurs alone. Centurion Running put the conditions at the other extreme from 2024, when flooding reached the course on race day: every runner left Goring at mile 25 more than an hour under the cutoff.
Of the field, 175 finished inside 28 hours and 103 of them broke 24 hours for the One Day buckle. Nineteen runners started the fourth and final leg of the Grand Slam of 100s that day, and all nineteen finished it.
